The project involved a new build facility for the North West Fire and Rescue Service, complete with the latest training facilities.

The project will benefit the local community as they will be able to utilise the gym, meeting rooms and lecture theatres.

The building will also act as a base for the ambulance service and will house an ambulance parking space, office, cleaning area plus a place to restock the ambulance equipment known as a ‘make ready’ area.

The police also have a place to house a vehicle, making the facility a base for all of the three emergency services.
