Our responsibilities included conducting a visual survey and designing new steelwork to support various structural changes. Key modifications included converting a large staircase into meeting pods with glazed elevations and assessing loading requirements to ensure the existing floor structure could handle a new lecture theatre and roof terrace with views of the London skyline.
The redevelopment also involved upgrading workshops into IT suites, creating lecture theatres, and adding amenities such as a café, sports hall, gym, and a roof terrace. These enhancements were designed to foster a high-tech, collaborative learning environment.
Throughout the project, we prioritised effective communication and collaboration with the client and stakeholders. This approach ensured that the project was completed ahead of schedule, successfully meeting the project’s goals and client expectations.
