Sutcliffe is encouraging all of its staff to take part in a charity mission –  the Liverpool buddyboost challenge.

The buddyboost challenge is an employee programme promoting physical and mental wellbeing in the workplace through inclusive and supportive challenges, encouraging individuals to boost their physical activity levels and helping them to feel healthier and happier.

Here at Sutcliffe, the mental health of our team remains a top priority and we actively promote wellbeing in the workplace.

That’s why we want our employees to join thousands of others across Liverpool and get involved with completing 26 minutes of an exercise of their choice every day for the rest of June, via the buddyboost app.

Employees can also join virtual buddy groups and send ‘boost messages’ to support and motivate each other to complete the challenge, as statistics show that participants with buddies are 40% more likely to complete the challenge than those who do it alone.

The benefits of getting active are endless, such as reducing stress and tiredness, helping individuals to feel more connected to others, boosting morale and improving sleep, which consequently improve functionality at work.

So with only two weeks left until the challenge ends at the end of June, there’s no better time to get involved.

Go team Sutcliffe!
