Sutcliffe is expanding its team in search of a new senior structural engineer!

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and management skills alongside a degree in either structural or civil engineering and hold a professional qualification such as CEng/IEng/MIStructE/MICE/AMICE.

The requirements for this role are as follows:

  • Prepare structural calculations in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
  • Skilled in the design and delivery of commercial, residential, healthcare, and education projects
  • Produce designs using Autodesk Revit, RAM, Tekla, Tedds, and AutoCAD

The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRICS building surveyor with excellent communication and management skills.

The requirements for this role are as follows:

  • Due diligence & building surveys
  • Building reinstatement valuations
  • RAAC surveys
  • Defect diagnosis surveys
  • Dilapidations & schedules of condition
  • Risk assessments
  • Project management
  • Contract administration
  • Employer’s agent duties

Projects will vary in size and include a number of sectors, residential, commercial, education, public sector, and healthcare.

Due to continued expansion at Sutcliffe, including some new framework project wins and an influx of new developments, we are expanding our team and looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join us.

The ideal candidate will have good communication and management skills alongside a degree in civil engineering and hold a professional qualification such as CEng/CEnv/IEng/MICE/AMICE/CIWEM.

You will be:

  • Required to carry out the production of infrastructure design to influence and develop master planning using knowledge of Highways Act 1980, Water Industry Act 2004, Land Drainage Act, and other Statutory Instruments
  • Skilled in the design of drainage and highway design in accordance with relevant design codes and best practice SuDS Design principles
  • Required to produce the infrastructure design using Autodesk Civils 3d, Infraworks, InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, Site 3d, PDS, and Flow
