From a commercial and a social perspective, having more strong women in the sector can only be a good thing.
Furthermore, at Sutcliffe we are playing our own small part in ‘breaking the bias’, not only by nurturing and empowering our female employees to climb the ladder but also by attending school, college and university talks and careers fairs, to directly speak to young women who are thinking of getting into the industry.
As a company, we have also recently reviewed and improved our family-friendly policy to ensure maternity and paternity leave is suitable for our employees, and as we continue to work towards gender equality, we will evolve and work to ensure Sutcliffe is continually seen as the workplace for everyone.
