This win is a massive achievement for our team and reflects our commitment to the Liverpool City Region and the wider community, a region that means so much to us. Merseyside is the place we began, a place where we laid our foundations, and the place we successfully grew and evolved into an engineering business of choice for many across the UK.
At Sutcliffe, we’ve always strived to be more than just a business. Our roots in this city run deep, and we’re dedicated to giving back to the areas that need it most. This past year has been an exciting journey of growth, success, and community involvement. We’ve celebrated record-breaking figures, having been appointed to some of the UK’s most significant frameworks, and continued to invest in the people who are the true driving force behind everything we achieve. In 2023, we hit an impressive milestone, reporting a 12% growth year-on-year. Our work on frameworks valued at over £2.5bn collectively has put us in an even stronger position as we look to the future.
But beyond these numbers, what really matters to us is making a meaningful difference. We’ve made it a priority to dedicate 10% of our resources to delivering social value in the local community, something we’re incredibly proud of. This award doesn’t just recognise our business achievements, but also the work we do to create positive change in the lives of those around us, strengthening our surrounding communities and the people within. Whether it’s through our engineering expertise, our commitment to sustainable practices, or our investment in the next generation of talent – we are passionate and committed to driving real impact.
Looking back at our achievements in 2023, we’re filled with pride, but what’s even more exciting is what lies ahead. With so much momentum behind us, we’re eager to see how we can continue to grow and make an even bigger impact in 2024 and beyond. We believe this is just the beginning of an incredible chapter for Sutcliffe.
