Project scope

To minimise disruption to hospital operations, we conducted structural and building surveys outside normal hours and performed detailed site investigations. This allowed us to design cost-effective pad and strip foundations and an in situ reinforced concrete floor slab. Our demolition strategy preserved essential structural walls, simplifying the subsequent refurbishment phases and enhancing project value.

This strategic approach ensured continuous NHS service operations while achieving a modern, efficient A&E department designed to improve patient access and care.
