Our work included designing new steelwork to support the expanded shop front, new glazed doors, and a canopy over the new exhibition gallery. We also designed structural supports for new lighting, ensuring the exhibition space could accommodate more dynamic displays.
On the ground floor, we helped deliver a new exhibition gallery, an expanded café and shop, and a dedicated education room. The lecture theatre stage was extended, creating a more versatile space for talks and performances. On the first floor, we carried out demolition and refurbishment work, including a structural assessment of existing blockwork walls to ensure stability was maintained.
These improvements will allow the Museum of Liverpool to continue evolving, offering new ways to showcase its collection and engage visitors in this exciting transformation.
