St Helens Council instructed Sutcliffe to carry out a structural survey inspection on the barns roof structure.

The results of the survey found the roof perlins were in good condition with a limited amount of defects observed but defects were found under areas of damage in overlying roof sheeting.

St Helens Council requested a further inspection of the whole barn structure.

Sutcliffe delivered an inspection of the structural frame to the salt barn, covering to the structural frame, concrete retaining bays, concrete hardstanding and external hardstanding and landscaping immediately adjacent to the building.
