We refurbished the 2-storey administration building, creating new office and conference facilities. We also constructed a new single-storey block for specialist laboratories, a reception area, and additional office space. The 3-storey International Technology Centre was updated with modern laboratories, conference rooms, and training areas. Additionally, we demolished the old warehouses and built a new 1,900m² storage warehouse with updated service yards and parking.
Project challenges
One of the main challenges was coordinating the phased construction while keeping the facility fully operational, which required meticulous planning and precise scheduling. Managing the demolition and new construction in a live environment presented logistical hurdles, including minimising disruption to ongoing operations. Our team effectively addressed these challenges, ensuring the project was completed smoothly and within budget.
