Sutcliffe’s role was crucial during the planning phase of the project. The team conducted thorough geotechnical and environmental assessments, including Phase I, II, and III site investigations. These investigations addressed potential contamination and geotechnical challenges to ensure the site’s suitability for development.

Additionally, Sutcliffe carried out a detailed flood risk assessment, which led to the design of surface water attenuation measures to meet climate change requirements. Although the development has since progressed beyond the planning phase, Sutcliffe’s expertise in preparing the site was instrumental in laying the groundwork for a successful residential project.

Throughout the process, Sutcliffe adapted quickly to remote working practices due to the pandemic, ensuring continued high levels of service and effective collaboration with project stakeholders.
