Our team carried out coal mining investigations, grouting design, and piled foundation design, ensuring the site was safe and suitable for construction. We also developed a remediation strategy, which included major cut and fill works to prepare the land for development.

For the structural elements, Sutcliffe designed the substructure and superstructure using traditional construction methods, as well as retaining walls to support the site’s layout. Additionally, we undertook Section 50 alterations to the existing highway, ensuring that the new infrastructure met all necessary regulations.

The development provides much-needed housing, helping to strengthen the local community and economy. New homes offer stability and security, giving residents a safe and high-quality place to live, enhancing the local area and providing sustainable housing for the future.
