Due to our extensive experience, here at Sutcliffe we understand the unique nature of emergency services. We are used to working around certain constraints, such as a live 24-hour working environment and can guarantee health and safety to both the staff and the general public and ensure no disruption is made to ongoing operations.

Our community all rely on blue light services and at Sutcliffe we are incredibly proud of our history in providing suitable buildings for service providers to operate. Sutcliffe’s vast experience covers lifeboat stations, fire stations, custodial suites, ambulance bays, police headquarters, new developments and refurbishments. Prescot Fire Station, a new build fire, ambulance and police facility for North West Fire and Rescue Service, provided a challenging site on a former mining area with multiple coal shafts. Sutcliffe Chartered Engineers needed to design grouting plans for the former coal seams and design foundations to span over the existing coal shafts.
