At Sutcliffe, we are proud of our outstanding reputation for developing educational buildings including refurbishment, surveys and new build across all levels of education from foundation through to higher establishments. Due to our extensive experience, we understand the unique nature of the education field and the need for careful planning to ensure that the key recess periods (Easter/summer) are used and that all construction activity is separated from students, staff and visitors. We also pride ourselves on completing the necessary tasks for completion on time to allow occupation at key term dates.
We have taken great pride over the years in delivering well-equipped facilities within a high standard of working environment. Whether it be through refurbishing old school buildings or providing new education establishment, our experienced teams know the value of planning high calibre builds. More recently we have provided modular temporary classrooms, to fill the need for additional classroom space.
Our work covers all of the education stages from nursery, primary education, secondary education, further education and higher education with many of our education projects through national and local frameworks for both the public and private sectors. P22, Scape, NWCH and Procure NW.
We have a vast range of experience with universities, colleges and schools and have key staff in place to deliver expert solutions. The University of Liverpool selected us to contribute to the construction of their management school extension through Civil & Structural Engineering works and Geotechnical & Environmental Site Investigations, which aims to increase the capacity for students to learn.
