Baker Hughes

Baker Hughes is one of the world’s largest oilfield service companies which operates in over 90 countries, providing the oil and gas industry with products and services.

Sutcliffe were involved in the £13M redevelopment of their existing facility at Kirkby, Liverpool.

The phased work to the existing petrochemical site included the strip out and refurbishment of their 2-storey administration building to provide office space and conference facilities. A new single-storey block was constructed to provide specialist laboratory space, a reception area and office space. Their 3-storey International Technology Centre laboratory block has been refurbished to provide new specialist laboratories, conference facilities, training rooms and office space. The existing warehouses were demolished and the construction of a new 1900m2 storage warehouse was built.

During the redevelopment, the existing facility remained fully operational throughout the entire works.
